Hugo Perez Sr. joins Juventus as DOC

Juventus continues to build for the future and we are very happy to make an early announcement about our coaching leadership for the 2017-2018 soccer season.
We are very pleased to welcome Former U.S. international player and U.S. youth national team coach Hugo Perez, Sr. Hugo. Himself a World Cup veteran, former US Soccer Federation U14/U15 coach and Hall of Fame member, he will be joining the club as our Director of Coaching and Youth Development (DOC), effective June 1, 2017.
Hugo brings years of experience as a coach and player to the club, and is credited with the further development of the most recent crop of young US players such as Christian Pulisic and Haji Wright.

As quoted by Tab Ramos, current US Mens U20 National Team Coach and CONCACAF Champion: “Hugo is one of the best coaches and second to none in the development of talent in the US. I look forward to hearing from Hugo about players at Juventus!”.

We would like to thank our entire team for working together to deliver this outstanding news, and we are excited about the future of the Club. We are a ‘development first’ soccer institution, and are proud to continue the 60 year legacy started by our four founders in 1956.
