Juventus Sport Club Announces the Hiring of Girls Technical Director Kim Yokers

Juventus Sport Club Announces the Hiring of former FC Gold Pride Veteran and UC Berkeley Captain Kim Yokers 
Juventus Sport Club (Juventus SC) of Redwood City CA have announced the hiring of former U21 US Women’s National Team player and WPS standout Kim Yokers.  Coach Yokers will be joining the club as Juventus SC Technical Director, Girl’s Teams. 
Kim has had a long and successful career in soccer, having played at the highest levels of the game. In addition to being a main fixture on the U21 US Women’s National Team, Kim also captained the women’s team at UC Berkeley. 
At UC Berkeley, Kim received many honors, including Rookie of the Year (2000), and Team Captain, MVP and Academic All-American (2003, 2004). After college, Kim was drafted into the WPS (Women’s Professional Soccer league), and played under Albertine Montoya at FC Gold Pride, along with top internationals and celebrated players such as Marta, Tiffeny Milbrett and Christine Sinclair, and later played in NY for the Western New York Flash alongside Carli Lloyd and Abby Wambach of the US team.
Kim brings over ten years of coaching and management experience to Juventus SC. She has led numerous camps and clinics for professional and amateur athletes, has developed and run her own technical skills training programs for teams and individuals, and most recently coached for East Bay United. 
“Kim has a terrific view and perspective on the youth, college and professional game for girls, in the Bay Area, and in the US overall. She will be a great advocate and mentor for our girls, and a welcome voice to our coaching leadership,” said Juventus SC Board President Michael Viviani.
